IM LODGING THIS COMPLAINT ON BEHALF OF MY MOTHER, M C MALINGA, ID NO:6202030538082.

ABOUT TWO WEEKS AGO, MY MOTHER RECEIVED A CALL FROM A LADY FROM SANLAM (PREV AFRICAN LIFE). SHE WAS ADVISED THAT THERE IS MONEY THAT MUST BE PAID BACK TO HER. SHE WENT TO THE SANLAM NEAREST BRANCH AND WAS ADVISED THAT REFUND WILL TAKE 48 HOURS. AS A RESULT MY MOM INCURRED SOME EXPENSES KNOWING THAT SHE WILL HAVE MONEY IN A FEW HOURS. SHE WAS CONCERNED WHEN SHE DID NOT RECEIVE THE MONEY. SHE WENT BACK TO SANLAM AND THIS TIME SHE WAS TOLD THE MONEY WILL TAKE 2 WEEKS.

YESTERDAY I CALLED THE CUSTOMER CARE LINE AND SPOKE TO ALTON. HE EXPLAINED THAT THE DELAY IS CAUSED BY THE FACT THAT MY MOTHER SUBMITTED AN OLD BANK STATEMENT. MY MOTHER CONFIRMED THE STATEMENT IS INCORRECT. SHE SUBMITTED HER RECENT BANK STATEMENT TO SANLAM.WE ARE HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED BY THE CONDUCT OF SANLAM REPRESENTATIVE. WE REQUEST THAT SHE BE REFUNDED ASAP AS THE 24 HOURS HAS LAPSED.
