I own a Brabus ML 500. I unfortunately hit a trench in the road on my way to Hartebeespoort Dam. The trench was in the shadow of a tree and wasnt visible. I have 22" rims that are specified on the policy. I put a claim in for 4 new rims and tyres. I discussed the claim with the assessor from NETASSESS when he came through. I have 2 emails from Brabus prohibiting the repair of the rims due to safety concerns as well as a bulletin from mercedes Benz Germany, who have the same policy. My broker, Jeremy from Robin Baird, has done his utmost to obstruct the replacement of the rims and has been most uncooperative. He is now starting to become belligerent and threatening. He's insinuating that we're doing something illegal!!! I would strongly warn anyone from spending money with these people, Hollard and Robin Baird, as it is money wasted. All they keep saying is that the rims must be X-rayed but even if the rims are X-rayed it doesn't detract from the manufacturers stipulation that these specific rims cannot be repaired. I'm posting this because I don't want anyone else to have the experiences I've had with these three companies.
