LOAN COULD NOT BE DONE BUT THEY KEPT DOWN PAYMENT

I was told that I could secure a loan with cash if I paid 10% of the value up front and 10% after the 30 days were expired. I paid the 10% thru my attorney and signed a couple of papers and then was told the down payment should have been 25%. I told him I had no more money and wanted to stop the loan. However, he and the representative processed the loan anyway. I never intended to get nor had the ability to get another 15% down. I was told it would take 60 days to process. I am not sure what they were processing. Anyway, after 60 days, I asked my attorney to get a refund and then I was told it was not refundable. I was never told that nor did I sign anything that said it was not refundable. The loan could not be done because my attorney and the bank rep miscommunicated the loan amount needed. This was no fault of mine. I never intended for the loan to move forward, however, my communication was only thru the attorney. I never spoke to anyone at the bank. I sent a letter to New Mexico address and it was returned. I have sent an email and a letter to the address on the website and have gotten no responses. I want a refund or a investiagtion done.
