Grab money with penalty fees late payments

I am travelling frequently abroad and always pay my FNB credit card. Sometimes not always local at month-end. However i noticed that if you are 1 day or so late they charge you a R230.00 late payment penalty fee. Then this is added to your outstanding amount and then they charge you again interest on that amount.

I find this sly, disrespectful, underhanded, greedy, bad business practice and totally unacceptable.

Any person do have 7 days to pay their bills after month end for ex property rentals. What makes a Credit card so special that they must have it while they can just charge you the overdue interest charge. BUT NO THAT IS NOT ENOUGH I MUST TAKE MORE FROM YOU!!!

They begged me to take their card and to move my account. Fortunately i did not move my account as with this behaviour you can just imagine how they will raid your other accounts with small unreadable fine print and promises through call centres.

Just wonder if they will do the honourable thing and pay me back.
