I recently had a burglary & made a claim for housgoods to I-Wyze. They rejected the claim based on the 1st tele conv. during quoting. My policy with them records my info as true, accurate & the true reflection of their current state. They also state: "the policy document is taken as the official record of your information". When assessing the claim, they disregarded my policy & used the tele-conver. instead. I asked why they used a tele conv over & not my policy as basis of the assessment. No answer. I lodged complaints. No answer. The fact that an official policy is not considered in an assessment is ridiculous, absurd, unfair & unethical!!
I put it 2 I-Wyze: The policy wording provided 2 me was directly in-line with my actual situation @ the time. I-Wyze has no reason accuse me of misrep/reject my claim. I now accuse iWyze of misrepresentation&using a perceived loophole 2 not honour their side of the contract. I have no other choice but 2 complain on a forum like this: 2 get a response from I-Wyze & 2 make others aware of their unfairness. This is my last attempt 2 get I-Wyze 2 honour their 48pg contract with me, b4 i pursue the legal way & report them 2 the Ombudsman.
