I was unemployed until recently. In fear of collection, I have always made a payment on the vehicle, even if it was below the instalments. Every time I moved, I changed my address, only to find that it was never changed, even after your debt collectors 'found' me, I said the vehicle had been in an accident (please follow this link to that story)

and my address was still not changed. Not once was I contacted in this regard, not a phone call or a message or an e-mail was sent to inform me that you wanted the car. When I found employment I wanted to restructure the debt and found a company that can help as Wesbank refused - I am tied into a 15.5% interest deal. Costs for collection was automatically charged twice in excess of nearly R14 000 not to mention a R500 pm arrears debt being added. I requested a settlement over 3months ago and only just received it. To my surprise that the vehicle is now more expensive than what i paid on the floor 4 years ago. I neeeeeed your help in this regard as I feel this is inhumane and goes against the consumer act - adding costs without my knowledge??
