Virgin Money South Africa
Wrongful Blacklisting and Default Listing

I queried a transaction that went through my credit card without my authorization in December 2011 when I was on holiday and the call centre agents told me there's nothing they can do about it, I need to find the company that made the transaction and complain to them.

Because of this kind of rudeness and bad service I requested them to close my account, which they agreed if I make an arrangement with the credit department of a payment of R500 to the account until its fully paid and then it will automatically close when all payments are made.

In January 2012, I made a payment which covered me for the next coming 7 Month, and I then continue with the payments from August 2012. To my surprise I got calls from Norton Lambrianos Attorneys, telling me that the account has been handed over to them as I am 7 Month in arrears. me and the attorney sorted out the account and updated all payments and closed the account. But the bank refuses to remove the default judgement on my name and says it has to stay for 4 to 6 years. This to me is wrong, how can I deal with this, who can I call to sort out this matter as the bank is not helping.
