I had take a personal load with standard bank, at the time i was working for them via my agency quest.i used to make a monthly payment of R2000.00 which also included a protection plan to cover my loan in the case i got retrenched. Months down the line i left the bank and got into another company and continued paying my account, i there after got retrenched within 2 months from there.i had submitted all supporting documents to the bank and they said they would look into the matter and resolve it, also that they would pay up to 6 months.this happen in May, its is now teh end of september and all i get is phone calls asking me about when will i be making payment to them, nothing is bering done to assist with the insallments of my loan, i am working for Standard bank again and i do not work everyday so i dont get a decent salary, but it seems as we are made to pay for a protection plan that does nothing for the client, because the bank still requires 10 different documents and even when the documents are given to them nothing is done, theres no communication or update from them, but they are quick to call for payment at different times of the day including nights.
