Failed to accpet my Insurance Policy as FICA

I recently opened a bank account with Standard Bank, considering a switch from FNB. All went well until I got to collect my card.

Upon representing my First 4 Women short Term insurance policy I was told that they cant' accept this, yet the Standard Bank Website states that these are valid FICA documents.

A recent shortterm insurance policy document or a shortterm insurance renewal letter (less than 1 year old)

They then suggested I drive all the way to the Library to open a Library Card... for what its worth, I'm actually not interested in switching anymore.

The fact that your Branch Staff has NO idea what acceptable FICA documents are says enough.
