I took out insurance on a bike deal that was meant to happen on the 16July 2013.
On the 18th the selling party pulled out. I called Earl to cancel the policy immediately as i had put down the Pro-rata of the first months payment and didn't want to pay for something not actually being used. The fact that the deal had to be canceled to not receive surprise debit orders was also a factor.
So the deal was 'canceled' and the money was going to be paid back to me. Until the 2nd of the next month i saw i had the insurance debit order come off.
I then called back and everything was guaranteed to be sorted.
Low and behold we are another month in and when i inquired about the situation got told i must get confirmation from Bikefin that the deal didn't go through - That would have been fine if i wasn't told it would all be sorted by Budget 2 months ago as was agreed.
Knowing there would be so little care and no one would follow up unless i did i would have done it all myself back then.
Great way to keep potential clients.
