I tried phoning Outsurance and wanted to speak to an escalated query / complaints person, but instead I was put through to what sounded like a fax machine.
One of their consultants recently called regarding building cover after they received a lead from FNB. I was treated like a new client, as if I didn't have a facility with them already. Besides the irritating "welcome" SMS and the like, I wasn't given the option of including the cover under my existing facility.
The consultant said she'd check with her manager, but I haven't heard anything since.
Also concerning, is the way it was "sold" - as if I didn't have the option of taking this insurance elsewhere at another provider.
