On friday the 20th of September 2013 I went to a Capitec branch in Hartswater, Northern Cape. When I entered the bank a manager by the name of Jan asked if he could help me. I explained that I wanted to open up a bank account but didn't have a proof of address, he said then he can not help me. I told him that I am aware that in my case there atlease advise that the bank can give in order to assist me. He then said if I know so much then why did I ask him. We then got into an argument and I was asked to leave.
I feel that was rude and very bad service for a first time client.
