Attorneys are misusing their right to list people on transunion, I was not contacted by a medical company in January for an outstanding amount owed that my medical aid did not cover, then they had my incorrect contact details and had handed over my account to DPP Attorneys, and they have listed me on transunion as a default payer for R 117, when my banker advised my name is on transunion for R 117 I requested a report from them, and traced it to the attorneys to find out whats happened, they informed me I owe their client R117, I managed to contact the accounts department and get an invoice of what is owing and I pay it immediately, and now the attorneys refuse to take off my name requesting their fees, the fact that they listed my name, they could have seen that the contact numbers they had for me is incorrect, as all my updated information is on transunion, Attorneys are manipulating this system to extort money from clients, as how am I responsible to pay for something that I did not know I owed, and they have not taken the correct measures in ensuring they contact me, and my correct information was available but they ignored to match the information they had for me.
