Good day

In March the 29th 2013 i went to my local branch to close my cheque account, Because I don't use the account any longer, the ladies at reception helped me to close it using standard online secure email, she said they would get back to me and my account would be closed within three working days, I waited, went to another bank and the women at the reception told me that it was still in pending . few months later i got mail saying i owed standard bank about 800 rand I called up to asked why they never responded to my message and the person at reception said there was no secure message, this is ridiculous because i saw it said sent.

I'm truly upset about this, i have been with standard bank since i was a teenager this bank is doing nothing for me now . absolutely fuming.

this must be resolve asap
