I have changed banks in July and have updated all my debit orders in time. FNB and other creditors still incorrectly debited the wrong account my old FNB cheque account. I have made numerous calls and emails and this was eventually rectified. I am not liable for the negative amount on this account as I have requested my debit order details to be changed and want my FNB account closed. I have made complaints regarding this on the website but no one has called me to date.
I have received a threatening letter from FNB stating they will take legal action against me. This is incorrect as I requested this acount to be closed.
