No response from Credit Card Division

What does one need to do to get a response from African Bank's credit card division?

I had an outstanding balance on my credit card which I settled on 28 August. I emailed the proof of payment to the credit card division on the same day and requested confirmation that my debt has now been settled.

I emailed them again on 2 September and to date they still haven't responded.

This morning I decided to try again and still nothing.

Why is it that they cannot phone you often enough when you owe them money, but forget about customer service once you've paid your debt?
