When I got to Avbob Spring with all required document to file my claim - the day before the funeral as it took long getting all relevent document. The consultant then said to me "YOU ARE AWARE THAT WE HAVE CHANGED OUR PAY OUT POLICY FROM 48 hours TO 21 DAYS? This is after I decide to use my salary to prepare for the funeral knowing I will have my payout by the 25th of December and would still be able to pay for my personal debt! No one at Avbob had ever mentioned that to me not even the lady @ the call centre! You would think Avbob would advise their customers of such a DRASTIC change! As my colleagues said, its amazing how they can send all of us letters adving us of payment increase but nothing about this! The lady said, I will put your claim through but you must remember the holidays we have this time of the year. Aint these policies suppose to help in time of need (financially)? How does Avbob expect us to bury our loved ones if we will only get OUR money in 21 days? Through it all... 36 days later (including holidays/ weekend) and 22 days (excluding) I STILL DON'T HAVE MY MONEY.
