I have spent the whole day running around like some headless chicken all thanks to Old Mutual.
I have had a funeral policy with them since July of last year and at the time of signing up I took an investment policy which I cancelled eairlier in this year.
I have had no problemd with then untill revently, In July there was and additionl DD of R350 which I didnt really took the time to question untill today when it happened again.
I went to the branch during my 15 minute tea break, the whole thing took 2 long hour and still I have had no satistfaction.
I was told that there was a new investment policy on my portfoli started on the 24 June 2013... no details were given of where and by whom.
I was then told I need to get a bnka statement, an affidavit and my ID.
After running around getting these document, I am then told an investigation will be held... after which "they" will decide whether or not I will be refunded.
I am the customer here, I am telling them, I have not signed up for any policies and I'm curious about how they got hold of my detail but then again they already had then on their systems. I will not wait a month for some investigation, I want my money.
