For the second time i have had to contact ABSA House Hold Insurance for a claim, the first time was for a leak which caused the spare rooms ceiling to be damaged. After sending out a Plumber I was told that the roof was leaking (One Broken Roof Tile) and that they will not cover the repair or any damage as this is due to poor maintenance. Now for the second time I had to call for a leak in the kitchen, once again the plumber is called in by ABSA and I get told they do not cover the repair cost or damage to my built in counters, floor ect as the leak is by the taps and they do not cover because of poor maintenance, DO THEY EVER PAY A CLAIM??? WHY BE INSURED WITH ABSA??? they seem not to make any payments out for claims and only want to take your money
