I guess it can't get any worse than this, my car was released yesterday (23 Jan 2013) -after more than 2 month. To my surprise, I was asked to sign a release form before testing the car (which I did). When I started the car, I noticed ABS, EPC and Airbag errors on the dashboard - I asked the panel-beater what's going on but I was told to go to VW and fix the errors myself. I also noticed that the electric windows were not working from the driver's door but they told me that they are not sure if it was working before and therefore can't fix it. The bumper was not properly fitted (too much space between it and the fender), 1 front indicator not working. The car loses control when you drive 100k/h. They broke the windscreen and replace it but no rear-view mirror now. Upon changing the bumper, I had to buy the grills and the bumper spoiler myself*sick*. Their repair consultant Nkululeko never phoned me and I can't get hold of him when I try to call his direct line (never spoken to the guy at all). So on release (yesterday), I was left with only 2 options:- 1. To leave the car there for possible 3 month long or:-2. Do it myself as the Insurance is so ignorant and not accountable.
