My wife and I went to the Standard Bank OTM to obtain copies of our bank statements for a 6 month period as these were required for visa applications. For some reason or other the OTM would not give us the details on one of our accounts and we entered the bank to request copies of the statements. The Centurion Mall branch is not our normal branch and we must have looked a bit lost when we were in the bank. A lady approached us asking if she could help us. On explaining our problem she immediately offered to assist and personally took us to one of the computer points and printed the statements for us. It turned out that she was not only a helpful clerk but we noticed that she was the Branch Manager, Ms Katryn vd Walt. It was refreshing to find a manager that was still interested in her customers and had a hands on approach. Although she did not know us at all she also invited us to contact her at any time if we required assistance. Standard Bank, you can be proud of staff members such as Ms v d Walt! Thank you..
