I have taken a R2000.00 Loan form wonga Last year September, which i could not be able to pay in on an agreed date, i then arranged for Payments. i then called wonga to give me the setllement letter with an amount, as i was consoladting all my debts, They could not find any information under my name, then i thought maybe it was paid as my debts were consiolodated, i rec a closure letter to confirm that the Account was pain in full and closed, I then reeived a call from Wonga Agent advising me that i have an acount with them and that the account is behind with payments, i told the agent about the Closure letter he confirmed yes it was send but the account is not closed, i told the agent t get hs manager to call me, ever since i havent received any call from wonga, and then a R500.00 was deducted from my account without my knowdge, to add salt on the wound they have listd my name with Experient, for what i dont know, I want to take ths issue futher with Credit ombudsmen however they advised me to first try to re-solve this with them, but when i call no one seem to know anything, its either they dont pick up any info or they put me on Hold.
