29 years of payments down the drain

I took out this Family Plan Policy on 01.10.1986 & they now want to tell me that it is expiring in 2018. Surely those are the years your next of kin requires these Death Benefits.
Upon asking to speak to a supervisor and/or requesting the original Policy where I signed for these conditions, I get the run-around.
Utterly ridiculous!!
