Payment status not updated with ITC

I took out a loan of - 8000 and I made few payments and then I could not keep up with my monthly payments and was garnished for about R23 000.I paid the full amount that was garnished. Today I drew my credit report at ITC, it still shows that I still owe an amount R4057 despite having paid four times the balance that was oustanding at the time of garnishing. No effort has been made to update the credit bureas. I find this very unfair. I would not be suprised If Atlas does not respond to this query. I require the letter stating that my account was paid in full.
