Unfair desicions made and still no response

One of our pipes was leaking in the roof. I contacted Absa Bank immediately the following morning to report the incident, since we have house insurance with Absa Bank. Absa bank did phone their contractor in Heidelburg to assist my problem. The contractors only responded much later the day which took me to stay off work and wait for them. When they arrived they said he doesn't have a ladder and said they will return with a ladder, they did not return and came the following day. Absa's contractors came only at 4' o clock. The owner of the plumbing business phoned me and threatened me saying that she will contact Absa and tell them that all our pipes are corroded. We then got two independent plumbers out to check if this is true. Absa then contacted me and told me that i had to replace all the corroded pipes, I am very dissapointed seeing that I have and still am a client of Absa for 20 years, I would like to know why Absa will not re-inburse me as i did replace all the' pipes as Absa suggested I do. It cost me a lot of money, and don't know why Absa did not take my word, but instead they believed the contractors who about all our pipes being corroded.
