I applied for a FnB platinum credit card. I was told my application was approved, and that i kust email bank statement and proof of payment which i did. After not hearing back from fnb after a week, i got another sms saying i need to fax my documents. Which i did. Another week went by withiut correspondence, so i called FNB today asking what is happening with my application. (which i was told would not take longer tham 4-5 days) the lady at the call center told me they did recieve my documents, but they couldnt accept it as the photo on my id copy isnt clear enough, and that i would have to fax it again. This is nonses as i've never had a problem, and there is nothing wrong withmthe pic. And why if there was something wrong, did someone not contact me? I decided to stick with my current bank as it doesnt seem like fnb wants new clients. And then they have the cheeck to tell you that the offer will expire in 5 days if you dont send through your documents.
