I have outstanding balances on my Standard bank credit card, revolving loan and overdraft; for which I have made payment arrangements with McRobberts attorneys.
Credit Card Arrangement: The collections agent at McRobberts has forced down my throat a repayment of R2069 per mnth, mind you I am also paying 1600 every month for the revolving loan and overdraft. I was specific to say that I cannot afford this much but I am willing to pay something (R800) until I get a better paying job.
Yesterday I was not at home as I work outside Durban now, my neighbors informed me that the sheriff of the court came looking for me.
Now this is very disturbing! Why did they accept the arrangements if they are going to take me to court? Why was that sheriff speaking to my neighbors? Why didn't they call me and warn me? I always answer my phone.
I take full responsibility for my defaults and I am makingt that right, I can only afford 2400 for all three accounts for now, but I am getting tired of the ongoing harassment; I am doing my best to make the monthly payments. I am directing this to Standard bank as I am aware that they outsource their collections. This is bad service at its finest!
