I lost my job in December 2009, so fell behind with my payments. After 2 years of making timeous payments< Capitec has blacklisted me. my account is paid up and they still have not updated the ITC records. this is the second time that i am complaining. i sent proof of payment to the complaints department but no one gets back to you. Coombe and associates have no idea what they are doing. i instructed Jonathan on 2 occassion to change my debit order date and increase the debit order for the second payment but none has being done. i asked for a settlement balance via telephone but no one gets back to me. i now have to get a lawyer who is going to charge me R3500.00 just to assist with this. i Have laid a complaint with the banking ombudsman and hope that i can get these judgements removed, as you dont get any response from capitec. all they do is and have no control of their accounts.
