I received a letter from Pholosa asset Management stating that I will be handed over to an attorney if I do not pay my account. NO account or amount is specified, only a reference number is provided and they request me to contact them in this letter. My wife called them and she was told that it is a Cell C account with outstanding amount of R 327.35 Because I did not pay within a certain number of days from the date of the letter, interest was added which now amounts to R 370.35 - She asked for a copy of the statement and she was told that it can only be provided in 14 days time but that there will be more interest added to the account before the end of this 14 day period. I called Cell C and they do not have any record of me having account with them which is related to my ID number. How can I pay anything with no reference to an account.
