Incompetence in closing off my acc

I settled my account in Oct 2012, and was given a discount for doing so. I faxed through to the proof of payment on the 18th of Oct to Daniel and the entire Debt review department. I got an automated response. I sent an email to Daniel on the 4th of January to ask him for my settlement letter..he refers this to the Admin department, still no response or settlement letter. April 2013, I get a call from Norman Bissett, stating that I am in arrears for a amount, which accroding to Std Bank was the discount that they have given me for settling the card. I called Std Bank, and due to their incompetence, was told they forgot to close my file and left the discount amount as still outstanding, instead of writing it off, they then have the nerve to hand me over to Norman Bissett. After emailing back and forth 10 differnt departments and speaking to 10 different people, I get an email from Nicola, stating that the paid up letter was sent, to date I have not recieved it. Then i decide to perform an ITC check, and guess what... I am listed by Std Bank as 150 days in arrears for an AMOUNT THAT WAS GIVEN AS A DISCOUNT... how the does a bank that has been around for 150 years, operate in this manne
