I made an offer to purchase on one of ABSA Repossed property in Nelpsruit and was offered a final grant by ABSA Western Cape through OOBA. After accepting the offer i was bombarded with broker telephone calls from ABSA and my OOBA consultant offering me a Home/Bond Protection Policy which i denied on all counts and signed a waiver with OOBA and obtained a life cover from Liberty insurance. Thereafter i have produce the policy summary information indicating the life cover, disability and dreaded diseases and policy number. At the moment the attorney still have not lodged the documents with the deed office because the ABSA Western Cape would not sign the cession form from Liberty and rather said the attorneys DU TOITS SMUT AND MATTHEWS PHOSA can sign in behalf of the bank and the attorney admin said the attorneys cannot sign in behalf of the bank. I feel that I'm be sent from pillar to post and being sabotage by OOBA and ABSA because i refused to accept ABSA nor OOBA home protection policy. As consumer I'm allowed to exercises my rights and waiver where i deemed the policy is not in my best interest.
