Moved from my other insurance company as i was offered a much lower premium by First for Women. Upon needing to claim for my swimming pool pump i am told that only my building structure is covered and this has to be a specified item. Lovely!!! So i call the policy department only to be told oh i have to have contents insured through them in order to specify a swimming pool pump.
I ask with tears in my eyes??? How ridiculous can one be??? Since when can you have a pool without a pump or is there something that First for Women know that we dont! What a ploy to force you to spend money you don't want to. Please explain to me how my pool pump and my borehole are in ANYWAY related to house contents.
NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL!!! All you have done is waste my time and i will now be looking for another insurance company. This is the first time that I am told my pool pump is not included.
People PLEASE beware moving to these cheaper companies as it can come back to bite you later!!! Lesson learnt!
