After filing a complaint on Hello Peter SOmeone from Absa contacted me and resolved the issue i had with the amount that was still due on my account I was supplied with a settlement amount on 28/06/2013 by Karen Jonker en Xolani Mlungwana, I paid this amount supplied by them straight away (on 28/06/2013)
Xolani replied saying " Kindly note that the payments will reflect tomorrow as it takes 2 business days to reflect. We will request for the write off and closure of the account once the above is in order." so 11 working days after this I am still waiting for the proof of closure of this account and still had no reply from Karen or Xolani - I received another letter from absa in the Mail threatening me with legal action - i have all my emails as proof that I have tried my best to correspond with Absa and they once again left me "hanging" ALL I NEED IS A LETTER THAT MY ACCOUNT IS PAID UP!!! how hard can this be
