On applying for vehicle finance with Portfolio Auto Investment we were sent documents to complete with the heading vehicle takeover: rent to own - sales agreement. On completion of this document we had to pay R1500.00 for an application fee. An email was received back from them stating - Quote "Your documents have been reviewed and strongly considered for approval, please forward sign
application forms, with your application fee. Once we`ve received your application, we"ll confirm
your approval for vehicle takeover, all makes and models. We will also introduce you to the warehouse." Unquote
This is a load of bull & a total, as nothing is a vehicle take over application / rent to own and there is no warehouse as stated in their sale agreement. We were re furred to a 2nd hand car dealership in Benoni who has not even met anyone from Portfolio Auto Investments and has no vehicle takeover / rent to own agreement with them. I contacted Mr. Benson and adv him that the info provided from them was false and that I want a full refund of the R1500.00. This was on the 26/04/2013. Up to now I have been to every single week as to when I will receive my refund. NO REFUND YET RECEIVED!
