I have logged a query with Alex Forbes for my IBM SA Provident Fund tax certificate as well as errors on the letter Alex Forbes send to me regarding the transfer of my Provident fund to a preservation fund (since I resigned from IBM) on the 17th of May and to date have still not received it even though I have sent repeated e-mail follow ups and contacted the Fund administrator (Garnet Meyer) who promised me to send it to me by latest cob yesterday.
I am not getting any feedback via e-mail or phone calls and I am fed up with this poor service. I can also not phone Alex Forbes today since it seems they are having problems with their telephone lines.
SARS is now auditing my tax return because they are waiting for the tax certificate from Alex Forbes and I think it is unacceptable service from such a famous company.
