I went for a personal loan on Saturday. I was told that the money would be paid in 24 hours. It has been 48 hours and no money. The reason I went to FNB, after receiving a ridiculous interest rate of 31%, was because I didn't want to open another account at a different bank taking even longer. Nedbank was even offering me a better interest rate of 24%, but noo... FNB is my bank.
On top of that I keep getting text messages asking to fax my payslip and Prove of Residence. I gave the person dealing with my request all the documents needed as well as asked him if I would need to fax anything and he declined.
