A few years ago now, I opened a ContractSave account at the Randburg branch. I knew what I wanted and it was really a matter of signing a few dotted lines.
I spoke to the consultant and they assured me that as soon as my account was activated, I would be able to access it via the internet banking terminal. On the contract, it also says that it would be able to be linked to my internet banking profile. A few months later, it was still not accessible via the internet banking terminal. I then went into the Plumstead branch to see what could be arranged about linking the account. Eventually, I was told that no, it couldn't be linked because of the type of account that it is. I can't believe that in the age of computers, all my other accounts can be linked to my profile, but not this one.
I want to make more use of the account as a savings tool, but I'm not willing to wait around in lines to make a deposit.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
