Dissability Claim Delay

Hello Peter,

My dad was medically boarded off from work due to disability in 2011. He has a loan with Standard Bank which covers disability and we have been liaising with them directly. The problem we are now faced with is that when we contacted them on the 10th of January 2013, we were informed that it would take 7 days for the claim to be settled and for my dad to be reimbursed for the payments made after his sickness. Today when we call to get an update as its working days later they say that they're still waiting for what I DON"T KNOW.

It's really sad that my dad has to deal with Standard Bank's incompetency to complete a claim sufficiently and payout like promised. However when you owe them money they will call you every day but when it's the other way around they don't have the decency to call and give you feedback.

We want the payout to be made by COB tomorrow (22/01/2013) as we were promised.
