I recently received a call from attorneys saying I owe MFC money. Apparently it was for a black vw polo which I purchased through MFC in 2005, in 2006 or so it was written off, my insurance paid most of it and the balance was paid by top up insurance. As far as I am concerned I owe MFC nothing. I have received no statements or letters but now after 6 years a call from lawyers! I think Nedbank are trying their luck since they took over MFC. I have since purchased 2 vehicles through MFC without any problems and no mention of a balance owing from the previous vehicle, in total I've purchased 3 vehicles through MFC. I have since not done any business with them and my last 2 vehicles were through Standard Bank. I refuse to be bullied into paying for something I have no knowledge about. MFC aka Nedbank must prove that I owe this amount and that they sent me written or telephonic notice of such, not hand me over to lawyers 6 years after the vehicle was fully paid. MFC do not take a chance with me, I am not one of your gullible customers, I will fight you tooth and nail, and I dare you to list me. I have an excellent credit record and these threaten to jeopodise that
