CLAIM REJECTED BASED ON OLD POLICY

My daughter logged a claim to Outsurance on 15 June 2013 after rats damaged the wiring and fuel pipe of her car. The terms and conditions of that policy was only sent to her on 25 June 2013 (almost ten days later) where it states that the policy does not cover damaged caused by pets. Martin conceded that the decision was taken on the terms and conditions of the old policy for the previous car that was written off in an accident.
Outsurance does not state in any of its policies that the terms and conditions are generic.
Martin had promised that he will send an official letter stating that the policy was rejected based on the terms and conditions of the old policy. It's the second day now and still no letter from Martin... typical of the type of service we have received thus far.
I would rather pay a little more and receive excellent service from another insurance company than try and save costs and have to go through the hassels from Outsurance.
