I was hijacked on the 04/05/13 for my vehicle and my vehicle was recovered on the same day, and then taken to saps pound where it was held and only released on the 23/05/13. It was taken to KZN panel beaters for assessment by Rudy from Hollard and Anesh from kzn panel beaters. After 3 weeks of waiting for repairs to be done i called Anesh for feedback and he confirmed that my engine is seized. To my knowledge my vehicle needs a new engine. I called Rudy and asked him for feedback as to how long the repairs would take and he couldn't give me an answer. I then called senior assessor Giddion from Hollard and he was also unable to give me any indications. Giddion took down all my details and advised me that he will call me back the same day after an investigation, but he never. I left a message for him at work but still no reply. I have not had a vehicle for 2 months and its tough for me getting around with a kid. I might be without a car for the next 2-3 months cause of this hijacking. The assessor from Hollard are not willing to negotiate with me on a solution neither are they willing to assist with a courtesy car. I never ask for this to happen and Hollard is not willing to help.
