GROSS INCOMPETENCE

I have tried, without success, to obtain payment of the last two dividends. No one bothered to tell me that the payments had supposedly not been made because of non-compliance with Rica. I pointed out that the payment of dividends does not require compliance with Rica. The email responses I received from Santam can politely be described as moronic. Eventually, they appeared to accept that they could pay me by cheque and requested my bank details. I provided my bank details. I was then told that the payments would not be made as I'd not provided them with the "documents". I asked what "documents" they were talking about. We had gone full circle and were back to Rica. I then tried to escalate and call the telephone number provided by Santam to lodge a complaint i.e. 0861100946. The telephone number does not work! Trying to correspond with Santam is like trying to communicate with a severely individual. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! YOU ARE GOING TO LOSE A LOT OF CUSTOMERS, INCLUDING ME.
