Credit Card Balance goes up R30K after person dies

Good day, on the 20th October 2012 G Richardson passed away and his affairs and estate were dealt with by ABSA Trust. As per the balance of the credit card in October 2012, the amount outstanding was approximately R36000. The estate has been finalised and an amount of R63K was paid to the credit card. Can someone please explain why the amount went up from R36 000 to R63 000 over a period of 8 months, when the account holder was deceased??? No one should have been operating on this account. I would like to receive email copies of the Credit Card Statement from October 2012 to date. I am a bit worried that the card was used. What worries me more is that ABSA Trust paid out the amount, without querying why the difference was so high compared to the October balance. Please investigate as a matter of urgency.
