I recently listened to an advertisement for Absa Islamic banking. It sounded enticing.
So I went online and looked. Still looked good, so I applied online & received a message that someone would call me.
Later in the day someone did call me, but I was busy on another call at that time and could not take the call. I was called THREE times is the space of less than a minute.
When I finished my call I listened to my voicemail only to hear a call centre consultant, sounding very insulted like I am wasting his time, telling me that repeated attempts to call me have failed as I refuse to take your calls and that if I am serious about getting an account I should now go to a branch.
SERIOUSLY!? You call me once, repeatedly, and then want to tell me that?
Keep your business. Your attitude stinks.
