We have put in an offer to purchase one of Standard Bank's repo properties, we have put down the 10% deposit that we were required to put down and this was already on 15 April 2013, we have heard nothing from them, It looks like Standard Bank are not interested in getting rid of their properties in posession at any stage as I hear that alot of people are waiting soooooo long. this is bad as we are put in a position to pay a deposit immediately but they can take as long as they want to make a decision. In the meantime someone else is earning interest on our deposit. You have to ask yourself if it is worth the wait to purchase repo properties from them as you only trying to help them.
