Okay, I usually hate call centers. We all do. The second my call was answered whilst trying to get travel notes put on my Discovery credit card though, I had a smile on my face. The agent said his name was Cody, unfortunate that I didn't catch his surname because he embodies the attitude that the Service Industry in South Africa is in desperate need of. He just sounded like he was smiling and that he was interested in what my issue was. He worked efficiently and my call was resolved in minutes. I feel though that, even if I had a major complaint, he would've managed to calm the situation.
Thanks again Cody, your ethic and personality are a brilliant breath of fresh air. I can only hope he is rewarded for such awesome customer interaction.
