Expensive, poor service, policy changed

Discovery insure cancelled my policy due to no payment - once I became aware of the problem I immediately contacted them to rectify the issue. I had my car and jewelry insured which I was then informed that I had to take out household insurance in order to insure my jewelry (which would cost me approx R450 extra a month). On complaining I was told I would be phoned back. I had to phone 2 more time to try and sort out the issue. I explained to the consultant that I was taking a long trip and did not want to drive without car insurance and he assured me that my policy (both jewelry and car) would be reinstated that day. A few weeks later I called to ask for road side assistance and the agent told me I had no policy! I then phoned again trying to sort out the issue and was told that they cancelled my policy as I did not have household insurance (including my car)! After being passed from agent to agent I asked to speak to manager who assured me a agent would phone to reinstate my policy the following day - no phone calls from anyone! I also asked for an email from her with a report - no emails with any reports as promised. They also cost double than other insurers!
