Absa border letter frustration

After about 8 phone calls to the absa call centre, most of which I was cut off after holding for 10 minutes, I finally got hold of a consultant who could advise what info I required to get a letter to take my absa financed vehicle across the border. She sent me the document to complete which I submitted to absa along with the supporting documents they requested. After this submission, it is impossible to get hold of anyone to confirm when I will receive my border letter! I was given an 011 number and told to contact a Colleen, but the extension i was given cuts off every time try call and no option or consultant has been able to put me through to her after another 4 phone calls today. I need this sorted out by monday to ensure my holiday is not ruined!! This type of service makes me wonder why I have been financing my vehicles with absa for the past 8 years!! It seems there is more focus on cutting costs and automating processes than delivering the service customers are paying for!
