I called FFW to get a quote for insurance on my car. I also called 5 other insurance companies and landed up staying with Outsurance because they improved my deal. However, FFW still went ahead and debited my account! They have absolutely nothing signed from me to say they can do this. Because of their incorrect debit order, 3 of my legitimate debit orders were returned and Nedbank charged me R270 for doing so! FFW have assured me they will refund me. My complaint is why did it happen in the first place? Under who's authority did this get as far as the bank and a debit order? I have since heard of 4 other people who have had exactly the same experience! What is this FFW - trying to make a quick buck?!
