I had a claim last year which was repudiated. I went to the ombudsman & my claim was re-instated. Lombard's (hcv) very own appointed independent investigator told me after exhaustively investigating my case with my full co-operation & then interviewing me not to worry & that I will be paid out & that they always try their luck to get out of claims which rightfully should be paid out. In the end I was still not paid by Lombard who presented a different story as to initially why they rejected my claim which resulted in my entire business being liquidated. These are highly unscrupulous insurers. I pity the people who use them & have to claim. Even ombudsman staff sympathised with me after hearing that I was a 'Lombard' client. I am now taking my case to court.
